ABI Tape is headquartered in Moorestown, NJ, USA. At this coating facility we produce protective and transfer tapes. A second coating plant, Ideal Tape, located in Lowell MA, USA, is home to the products serving the HVAC, leather wear, electrical and composite bonding industries.
In addition to the coating facilities in the USA, the division operates converting facilities in Belgium, Singapore and Italy, where master rolls are converted into smaller sizes and are distributed.
For Ronse, Belgium, our regional headquarters from where we service Europe, Africa, Middle-East and Russia (EAMER), we are looking for a Commercial Project Manager to strengthen our highly skilled and motivated team.
Job Overview:
The Commercial Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of commercial projects, including scoping (call out the project definition, input gathering from end-users and other stakeholders, geography, objectives, assumptions and deliverables upon reaching completion criteria), planning, estimation of commercial impact (cost as well as revenue), identifying and ensuring timely availability of resources (budget, people, materials and equipment), chosen methodology and project evaluation.
The role requires strong leadership skills to ensure project team members work cohesively toward meeting project objectives. This position also requires exceptional decision-making skills, as well as communication skills to keep the stake holders abreast of the progress.
Commercial Project Managers are often responsible for managing multiple projects at once and must be able to prioritize tasks based on deadlines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee all aspects of commercial projects, from project scoping to completion;
- Develop and maintain project budgets and timelines, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget;
- Collaborate with teams to ensure projects meet client requirements;
- Lead project status meetings with stakeholders, including executives, clients, and subcontractors, communicating project progress and identifying any issues or risks;
- Take proactive steps to mitigate project risks and manage any unexpected changes to project scope, budget, or timelines;
- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date;
- Implement and manage project safety plans, ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and regulations;
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
The successful candidate can prove to possess at least 3 of the following set of skills and experience:
- Project Manage experience (4 years +);
- Passion for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) (2 years +);
- Successful track record in developing new business (2 years +);
- Experience in product management (2 years +);
- Experience with Excel Pivot and formulas (4 years);
- Experience with tape, surface treatment, chemical adhesives, material science (2 years +);
- Experience dealing with international suppliers and /or business partners (2 years +);
- Experience in the die cut industry (2 years +);
- Fluency in English is essential, Dutch, German & French preferred. Spanish would be advantageous.
