Storage conditions
Pressure sensitive tapes need to be stored under defined conditions. Extreme high temperatures can lead to degradation of the adhesive or backing materials. Extreme low temperatures might influence the bonding characteristics.
The generally recommended storage conditions are:
The target surface should be clean and dust free.
If this is not the case, clean the target surface with suitable cleaning products. For example if the target surface is a window, clean it with window cleaner.
Unwinding
AirMask is designed for machine application.
Unwind and apply AirMask with a laminator machine onto the graphic. Make sure to turn off the brake and the adhesive side of AirMask should face the graphic.
Application - act
The transfer tape will transfer the vinyl graphic onto the target surface.
Removal
Remove the transfer tape from the applied graphic by peeling back at an angle of 45°.
Discard / Recycle
This is a temporary tape – once removed one can discard / dispose without special instructions.
ABI Tape takes responsibility for our planet. As such, we are currently working on tapes that have an accelerated biodegradable function on the backing. Stay tuned …

- 50 - 70% relative humidity
- Rolls store flat in their original packaging, away from direct sources of UV (i.e., lights, sun).

Unwind and apply AirMask with a laminator machine onto the graphic. Make sure to turn off the brake and the adhesive side of AirMask should face the graphic.
Application - act
- Install the vinyl graphic on the designated area of your laminator machine (vinyl facing up).
- Install the roll of AirMask with the adhesive side facing the vinyl, on the designated area of the laminator machine and turn off the brake.
- When the lamination process is done, turn the graphic upside down and peel the liner away from the graphic.
- Apply the graphic to its target surface with the vinyl facing the surface.
- Squeegee the graphic onto the target surface from the centre out to remove bubbles. AirMask was designed to reduce bubbles so this will be easier. Make sure the graphic adheres fully to the target surface.
- Remove the AirMask from the applied graphic by peeling back at an angle of 45° and discard the transfer tape.
